Los Angeles, California June 25-27, 2010. Leap Adaptive attended the 2010
DWELL on Design Show. There was really not a whole lot of new in Green this
year. There were some cool, or should I say "HOT" things to see like portable
alcohol fire bowls, in wall alcohol fireplace units and a very nifty in-wall
speaker that is actually a sounding-board (think grand piano) that laces
into the wall- board and is than mudded over. The unit totally disapears.
Very stealth, and it sounded very good. My favorite was the auto-touch
pocketing door system. Pricey. Very cool and very James T. Kirk.

There were lots of "Green" furniture showings as well. But to tell you the truth- I
really don't get it. Big hunks of reclaimed tree trunks does not a nice
Ethan-Allen piece make. And the weight, and the resin, and the shaping,
and the power to shape, and the shipping... well you get the point. Check
