A. Yes, a LEAP home can be certified by LEED
when its plans and design specifications are
adhered to, and other mandatory
requirements of the LEED rating system are met
by the contributing facets of the project and
project team. Because of its design, a LEAP
designed project greatly advances the LEED
certification objective.

Q. Can I choose my own components like
doors, windows, exterior finish, etc. to build my
LEAP home?
A. Yes, but why would you? A LEAP designed
home is a synergistic design solution that
brings together compatible components that
render a beautiful, economical and efficient
dwelling solution. We've already done the
homework- so you can spend your valuable
time managing other important aspects of the
project.

Q. Are structural layouts included in LEAP plan
sets of drawings?
A. Yes, schematic structural layouts are
included in the LEAP plan sets. The plan
purchaser is advised to engage a licensed
professional to provide engineering of the
structural layouts to meet the applicable
building codes of the State and Local building
jurisdiction where the LEAP home is to be built.

Q. What about compliance with State Energy
Codes.
A. Requirements vary from State to State and
energy performance is greatly dependent
upon the components used in the building of
the home. Therefore the plan purchaser is
advised to engage an Energy Calculation
service provider to perform the necessary
computations and documentations required
by the applicable building jurisdiction.
Q. Can a LEAP Adaptive plan be customized?
A. Yes. We will gladly perform limited
customization to a LEAP Adaptive design for
an extra charge of US$65.00 per hour. There
are limitations, so just give us a call to discuss
what you may want to do, and if we can
accommodate you within your budget, we

plan purchase?

usage right to build a LEAP Adaptive design.
You can call LEAP Adaptive do discuss re-use
fees if you plan to build more than one (1)
unit. Please refer to the appropriate license
agreement for detailed information.

Q. Once I have received a set of plans, and
for some reason change my mind or decide
that I don't want the plans, can I return them
for a refund?

A. Within 30 days of your purchase, LEAP
Adaptive will be happy to exchange your
plan purchase for another plan of same or
lesser value, or you may upgrade your
purchase. Because the plans are an
intellectual and licenced product, we are not
able to offer a refund. Once you have

supports the design with a baseline "Green"
specification to help meet the "USGBC" LEED for
